Unemployment & Job Search

Unemployment benefits help you if you lose your job or your training position. They replace part of your lost income and help you cover your living expenses. You will normally receive these benefits for up to 12 months. After that, you can apply for basic income support. You can find more information here.

If you, as an employer, would like to hire eligible individuals, you can apply to the Job Center for wage subsidies under the Equal Opportunity Act.
