Vocational training allowance

Vocational training allowance (BAB) is a financial grant for young people in their first vocational training. In exceptional cases, it is also possible to receive support for a second apprenticeship. It helps to pay for rent, meals or travel costs, for example. You can find out more here.

Housing benefit

The burden of housing costs is high for many low-income households. This is where Housing Benefit Plus can help: Housing benefit is a state subsidy towards housing costs - both for rented accommodation and owner-occupied homes. Housing benefit plus supports households with low incomes above the basic income support level and thus ensures adequate and family-friendly housing. Social housing eligibility certificate

If you have a low income and would like to rent an affordable, subsidized apartment, you can apply for a Social housing eligibility certificate (WBS). You can find out more here.

Children, teenagers and young adults should have the same opportunities in Germany. Education and participation in social and cultural life are important prerequisites for equal opportunities. Supporting young people who are difficult to reach

Are you between 15 and 25 years old and currently in a difficult life situation, for example because you can't find a job or training place? Then you may be able to apply for this benefit.
