Technical requirements

The two functionalities tailored to advice centers

(1) Advice center finder

(2) Self-service function for advice centers

are web-based.

Both the advice center and the person seeking advice only need an internet-enabled device (e.g. PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), an internet connection and an up-to-date browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox).

Connection to the self-service of the advice center finder

The connection to the self-service is low-threshold and is permanently free of charge for all advice centers within the Federal Republic of Germany. This is independent of the decision of the federal states on the subsequent use of the social platform.

Connection procedure

1. Initial contact with the social platform

2. Express interest in re-using individual or entire functionalities (via email)

3. Go through the connection process

  • Provision of login and training material
  • Register for the functionality

4. Use functionality
