Easy language is about making texts and language easy to understand. For example, by writing short sentences, avoiding foreign words and structuring content in a meaningful way. This also benefits other target groups who encounter language barriers in our information society. These are, for example, the 7.5 million functionally illiterate people in Germany. People for whom German is a foreign language also use content in easy language.
.The monitoring body for accessible information technology of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia regularly checks whether and to what extent websites and mobile applications of public bodies in the state meet the accessibility requirements. The aim of the monitoring body's work is to ensure compliance with the requirements for accessible information technology and to ensure that the legal regulations are implemented across the board.

This website is partially accessible. The requirements of BITV 2.0 are partially fulfilled. This website was tested by the Competence Center for Accessible IT using the BITV self-assessment test.
