Technical requirements

The four functionalities

tailored to advice centers

(1) Advice center finder

(2) Self-servicefunction for advice centers

(3) Online appointment booking function and

(4) Online advice with chat and video function

 

are web-based.

 

For this, both the advice center and the person seeking advice only need an Internet-enabled device (e.g. PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), an Internet connection and an up-to-date browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox).

 

For the online consultation, a functioning microphone and a speaker and optionally a camera are required.

Connection to the self-service of the advice center finder

The connection to the self-service is low-threshold and permanently free for all advice centers within the Federal Republic of Germany. This is independent of the decision of the federal states on the subsequent use of the social platform.

 

The connection to the self-service is possible and useful even without using the other functionalities, because by maintaining the data and offers in the advice center finder, advice seekers receive reliable assistance.

 

Furthermore, advice centers that already use other services for online appointment bookings and/or online advice can refer to these pages via a link.

  • Sign the order processing agreement on both sides
  • Provide login and training material
  • Register for the functionality

Connection to online appointment booking & online consultation

In principle, advice centers have the option of using both functionalities (online appointment booking and online advice). However, you can also decide to activate only one of the two functionalities.

 

However, the option to connect depends on the decision of the federal states regarding the subsequent use of the social platform.

 

In order to ensure a structured procedure for the connection of online appointment booking and online counseling, counseling centers should therefore coordinate with the responsible contact person in your federal state.

Notify the person responsible for the federal stateof your interest in reuse by email.

3. Formalia

You will then receive an order processing agreement to sign.

4. Access

After the responsible person has signed the agreement, you will receive your personal access data by e-mail together with step-by-step instructions on how to log in.

5. Use

Initial setup and regular use of the functionalities. For this purpose, you will be provided with attractively designed manuals for each functionality and role. You can also find these in the download area.
