Various marks (letter abbreviations) in the severely disabled person's pass indicate which specific disabilities and health restrictions the person has. Many compensations for disadvantages and benefits are linked to these characteristics.
There are the following marks:
- G: significant impairment of mobility in road traffic and significant walking and/or standing disability
- aG: exceptional walking disability
- H: helpless
- Bl: blind or severely visually impaired
- RF: radio fee exemption reduction
- B: requires constant accompaniment when using public transportation
- Gl: deaf or hearing impaired bordering on deafness with severe speech impairment
- TBl: deaf-blind
Note: If the requirements for free transportation on public transport are met (mark G, Gl, H, aG or Bl), the card is also printed in orange on one side and is valid as a ticket in conjunction with the token.
